The Teams success in avoiding mechanical failures is incredible, as of Aug 1st 2007, we have 61 straight races with us running on the last lap going all the way back to July 2003 in the Nascar Weekly Series.
Update; our string or races without a DNF was stopped on August 4th. On lap 148, 2 laps from the end of the race. A rod-end on our rear axle snapped taking us out of the race while we running in 2nd place. |

Bob Keam - 2006 was to be Bobs final year with him retiring as Shane's crew chief. He retires with two well deserved Super Late Model Crew Chief Championships in the Superstock Division at Evergreen Speedway. He has spent countless hours over a great many years of incredibly dedicated service being the crew chief and mentor for Shane Harding. He will truly be missed by all in the upcoming season. Update: Bob Keam will be back with Shane Harding racing on an occasional basis during the 2007 race season.
Bon brings over 40 years of racing experience to the team. As a former racecar driver himself, Bobs experiences and expertise keep Shane running in front of the pack with a very safe racecar. Bob relates to Shane’s experiences on the race track and proven to be a great asset and leader to the team. |

Pete Harding: Technical Support
Shane’s father, a NASCAR Champion with 35 years experience attends Shane’s races as a friend, father and fellow competitor who provides moral and technical support as well as driving advice. |

Joe Ploegman: Team Manager and Crew Chief
Joe starting his 6th year with Shane takes over as Crew Chief for 2007 for the retiring Bob Keam. Joe has brought his many years of experience in aircraft maintenance, project management and his background of drag racing to the world of circle track racing. On raceday, Joe goes over every aspect of the car to ensure that is ready to race for the wins while running in the front of the pack. Joe's prerace inspections make sure the cars finish every race.

Shae Harding: Scoring/Timing
Shae is an incredible asset to the team being co-spotter for her husband Shane during the races. She also does the data recording during the events and records everything from tire temperatures to recording all the lap times during time trials. |

Geoffrey Marples: Shop Mechanic/Raceday Mechanic
Geoff is an excellent race day mechanic and is now a very capable Machinist. Geoffrey has been with SCR for three years now. In 2006 he stepped up and filled a huge role on our team. He has been with SCR just part time while working full time on the movie sets. He is now juggling his work in the movie industry and racing full time. He is a fast and talented mechanic who keeps us in the winners circle. |

Kevin Wilkinson: Shop Mechanic/Raceday Mechanic
Kevin who was new to the team last year has stepped up and has become one of our primary shop mechanics as well as on raceday. He is an extremely dedicated and very hard worker who learns fast. Kevin who is starting his 2nd year with SCR is quite the comic who always makes shop and race day interesting. On raceday he is a dedicated tireman and assisting with mechanical duties as well. He has been a great addition to the team with his new found favorite sport of NASCAR. |

Trevor Hunter: Raceday Mechanic/Part time Shop Mechanic
Trevor is back for his 4th year at SCR, he is a talented jackman, mentor and leader to the new teammates as well as an avid troubleshooter. |

Todd Oakland: Plumbing/Shop Mechanic
Todd in his 6th year joined ShaneCity Racing in 2001. Todd brings with him extensive experience with the same specific car type, as the team runs. Todd does the cars extensive plumbing systems and helps maintain our quick change rear ends. He also assists in the weekly maintenance and preparation of the cars. |
